You can find the palm tree viewpoint in between the Maasin River, where the famous Palm Rope Swing is found and General Luna, the main tourist area of Siargao. If you are staying in General Luna it is a short 25-minute moped ride. The route will take you along winding roads, passing rice terraces and off course palm trees!

The Best Way To Get Around Siargaoย ๐ต
Whether you are in the Philippinesย or anywhere else in Asia, you canโt beat jumping on a moped with the wind in your hair and exploring. This is how we got around Siargao most of the time.
We hired our moped for 24 hours, the evening before we planned to set off. Make sure you do this so you can get up nice and early without having to worry about finding somewhere to hire a bike from. The bike cost us 400 pesos for 24 hours. Most bikes will come with no fuel, 150 pesoโs worth of fuel will be more than enough for the day.
We understand that some people are not keen on riding a moped, so we have the perfect solution for you. There is an amazing Land Tour run by Klook which will take you to all the top spots on the island. These include The Palm Tree Lookout, Magpupungko Rock Pools and Subga Lagoon. This full-day tour is run daily.
Best Time To Visit The Palm Tree Lookout Siargao ๐
We recommend getting up early and heading to the lookout for sunrise. When we arrived the sun with just hitting the tops of the palm trees with the morning mist still lingering in between the trees. This makes for an epic photo, you will also have the place to yourself.
ย
As the lookout is in a lay by at the side of the road on a large hill, you might need to go into the road to get the shot. This is why getting up early comes in handy. There is a lot less traffic and people around at that time.
