You can find the Siargao coconut road in between the Maasin River, where the famous Palm Tree Rope Swing is found and the Palm Tree Lookout. General Luna is the main tourist area of Siargao, this is where you are likely to stay.

How To Get To The Palm Tree Road Siargao ๐Ÿ›ตย

The roads in Siargao are very quiet and well maintained compared to many other replaces in the Philippines. This means it’s the perfect place to hop on a bike and explore the island. This is exactly how we got to Palm Tree Road and all around Siargao. We hired a moped from General Luna which cost us 400 Pesos for 24 hours.

We hired the moped the night before so we were ready to head out first thing in the morning.

When To Visit The Palm Tree Road Siargao ๐Ÿ•’ย

You can visit the Siargao palm tree road at any time of the day. Along the long stretch of road, there is a hard shoulder to stop in. You can park your bike in a safe place and get snapping.

We decided to get here for sunrise for two reasons. The first is the light of the tops of the trees as the sun is rising is just beautiful. The second is at this time in the morning there is a lot less traffic. This meant we were able to stand in the road for longer to get the perfect shot.

Of course, you can visit Siargao Coconut Road at any time of the day if early morning arent your thing.

How To Get The Shots At Palm Tree Road Siargao ๐Ÿ“ทย

Coconut Road Siargao is very photogenic! Therefore It isn’t about your camera, it’s about how you use it. We have a camera bag full of kit, but you don’t need all the latest gear to take great pictures. If you don’t have a camera or drone your mobile will be fine.

We did use our drone to get a few of our shots but try and mix it up. Get some high shots standing up in the road, then try and sit down in the road and get some low shots.
